Un Po’ Di Più

Rue du Tunnel 1, 1005 Lausanne, Switzerland

Lausanne’s newest hot trendy trattoria is located near the Riponne car park. This trattoria is the new address for eating great pasta and Italian specialities.

Jasmine (the Canadian who is always super nice and smiling) has created a little gem in the center of Lausanne. She has spent hours in charity shops to find the mismatched and crazy kitsch tableware that fits perfectly in this colorful restaurant. It’s a bit like being in the world of David LaChapelle. It reminds us of the Big Mamma establishments in Paris or London. Turquoise walls, frames everywhere, trinkets that you would find at your Italian friend’s nonna. It’s busy, very busy but it works!

For drinks, we tried the Negroni (certo!). It was as we like it, well filled and perfectly balanced.

As a starter, the paccheri fritti, a real killer. Then spaghetti puttanesca and paccheri panare (crab meat, tuna, tomato and lemon pistachio breadcrumbs). Really really good and there was plenty on our plates.

Also the staff was super welcoming and friendly!

PLAN B: for sunny days, they have a large terrace that is just as colorful and kitch as the inside.
