This cozy little restaurant in Highbury Islington is the perfect place for homemade pasta and sharing dishes with friends or for a perfect date.

As a starter: we shared fried mussels with a little aioli and a salad of castelfranco (endives-ish), clementines, pomegranates and ricotta.

Then the stars of the menu (in my opinion): pici cacio e pepe, parpadelle with beef shin rage, fettuccine with fennel and sausage or even tagliarini with crab, chili and lemon. A pure treat that melts in your mouth.

The lamb was also very good.

And the desserts…excellent: panna cotta and tiramisu of course.

The Negroni are very good and their wine list is very good.

PLAN B: If you can’t book a table, try to stop by. With a little luck you will find a table or you can also try their other restaurant Padella.
