Just a 3-minute walk from King’s Cross, you’ll find this new sandwich shop serving American-style subs. A sandwich made with multiple layers of deli meats, cheese, fresh vegetables (lettuce, tomato, onion), and sauces. With its torpedo shape, generous size, and homemade bread that’s soft inside and crispy outside, it’s a real treat.
As for the menu, there are 5 options (including a vegetarian one). You’ll find the classic “Tommy’s Club” (turkey, ham, lettuce, tomato, Swiss cheese), we tried the “Mafia” (mortadella, ham, spicy salami) and the “Rainer” (roast beef, Swiss cheese, and rocket). Absolutely delicious!
If you’re really hungry, you can add a side: coleslaw, potato salad, or macaroni salad.
And of course, we went for the chocolate pecan cookie for dessert!
PLAN B: Their seating area is really nice, but if it’s full, we would get it to go and eat just behind Kings Cross, in Coal Drops Yard neighborhood.
