Great Indian food in this old neighborhood pub. Probably the most talked about Indian restaurant in the city and at a really affordable price.
Wooden floors, blue walls, small tables and additional seats by the windows. The place is cozy and we like the fact that it has this old pub vibes.
The food is excellent and very colorful.
Okra fries and onion phaji (onion fritters) are great to start with.
The paneer butter masala (tofu-like cheese in a tomato and onion sauce) and the chicken curry are also really good. Rice and roti (super fine Indian chapati bread) as sides.
And for dessert a small gulab jamun (donut in a vanilla sauce with syrup) or a mango lassi.
The cocktail list is also super interesting: Old Fashioned with charcoal and coconut, Piña Colassi (half piña colada, half lassi), Masala Mary (Bloody Mary with Indian notes).
PLAN B: For a more pub atmosphere, try their new address, The Tamil Crown.
