A paradise in Santa Barbara, you want to get out of the craziness of Los Angeles and discover the cute town of Santa Barbara, which is located 1.45 North East of LA. Its Spanish heritage and its mission built in 1820.

The hotel you need is The Leta Santa Barbara Goleta. An old motel transformed into a Californian bohemian paradise.

Unfortunately, it is not by the Ocean but it is worth staying there. Outside a nice heated pool (all year long), small lounging areas where you can sip a glass of local wine or try a refreshing cocktail. There is also a pool table and a record store.

The hotel provides free bicycles and free yoga classes by the pool.

The interior design is dope. Pieces of art all over the place, vintage and new furniture. The bedrooms are inspired by the skating and surfing Californian culture. Each room has its own record player, vinyl and yoga mats.

We also enjoyed: CAYA, the hotel’s restaurant.
