The Commerce Inn
Jodi Williams and Rita Sodi (behind Buvette and Via Carota) reopened this restaurant at the end of 2021, which bring us to the West Village of the 1900s, which first a carriage house, a speakeasy and then restaurants.
The menu is simple and rustic: Cod cakes, roast chicken, rarebit, marrow, pieces of meat with classical sides such as : cauliflower, carrots, beets, beans, …
The cocktails are good and mainly made with bourbon or scotch.
