Once you have found the little red door, you are sent to the 4th floor of this old courthouse where the former judge’s dining room was located…  Once in this two-story restaurant, you are transported back in time: faded, cracked walls, solid wood floors and art on the walls. We love it.

Art is of course also on your plate. A menu not too large with seasonal ingredients.

Here, it’s nice to share the dishes ( they arrive when they’re ready) : beetroot and goat’s curd, mackerel, pumpkin and mandarin, eel and potato, hen of the woods (a mushroom) and orange ( so good), beef and Jerusalem artichokes. Everything we tasted was great.

And if you’re still a little hungry, the panna cotta was perfect.

This place is magical and must be on your list.

PLAN B : Even for lunch, this place is great. It’s like the Harry Potter Studios: book your table before booking your London visit!
