Located in a historic landmark flatiron-style building in the center of Mid-Market on Market Street, the San Fransisco Proper Hotel, this boutique hotel is an architectural gem. Ideally located if you are visiting SF (near Chinatown, the Ice Cream Museum …). The building was built in 1904 and is just pure beauty.
We tested the Bunk Room, small with bunk beds. A design inspired by the vintage of the Roaring Twenties mixed with state-of-the-art technology (tablets, speakers…).
Villon, the lobby restaurant is perfect for breakfast. But we loved the rooftop bar called Charmaine’s. It is a must to enjoy one or two cocktails with an incredible 360 view.
