Located just a few minutes away from The Grove, the newly opened Palihouse West Hollywood (formerly located on Santa Monica Boulevard) greatss you in a cozy place where retro-vintage and modern styles blend.
A little Wes Anderson feeling: floral carpet, woodwork, checkerboard and bold tiles. It’s quite fun.
The rooms of this 95-room boutique hotel are rather spacious, with cool pieces of furniture, Diptyque shower soap and even the mini fridge is by Smeg of course!
A private swimming pool with deckchairs gives us a 1920s Pool Club vibes, like Hotel Molitor in Paris, with even a free refreshment bar (flavored water, iced coffee and lemonade) and a candy self-service station. We loved it.
The café/restaurant on the ground floor is bright and spacious. Perfect for an aperitif or a coffee in the morning. They also have a Japanese restaurant that we didn’t try. From 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., they even have a take away window.
PLAN B: If you prefer to stay in another area of LA, we also tested their hotel inSilver Lake, the Silver Lake Pool and Inn, which we loved!
