One of our favorites, is right in the center of London’s tourist district, near Piccadilly Circus. Nopi (North of Picadilly) by Israeli chef Yottam Ottolenghi is a treat for the taste buds.
Ottolenghi is one of the city’s star chefs. He revolutionized London cuisine. On the menu, lots of flavors that you know little or nothing about. Tastes that explode in the mouth.
The whole menu consists of small dishes to share. Lots of vegetables, fish and meat. A cuisine where it’s all about mix and match: imagine a string bean salad with lime, chili pepper and coconut flakes or shredded mutton with cumin with pomegranate and yogurt or a burrata served with quince and coriander.
PLAN B: Ottolenghi has several deli in the city where you can eat in or take out, and where you will find all the essential spices to make recipes from his books at home.
