Northern Thai food, a real blast for your mouth. This address had been on our list for a while and we loved it. They don’t take reservations, put your name on the list right away when you arrive.
The super kitsch decor made us think of Tortilla Flats in NYC, super colorful with posters (from the 90ies) on the walls , beaded curtains, tablecloths with zebra or leopard prints.
A spicy (but not too spicy) food to share: the dishes arrive when they are ready. The party wings and papaya salad were a perfect combo to start.
Then, a tofu Pad Thai, a chicken Pad See Ew, garlic sautéed beans and shrimp fried rice. The food was truly amazing!
Their organic wine selection was very nice too.
PLAN B: Two other options in Los Angeles: Night + Market Weho or Night + Market Sahm (Venice). Or the cookbook if you can’t travel…
