In the middle of Dimes Square, this trendy little Lower East Side spot is a kind of French bar-tabac: small bistro tables, a bar with wooden stools, a terrace that spills out onto the street and a fairly young crowd who are there to chill and have a good time.

This place has nothing to envy of a Parisian bistro in the 11th arrondissement.

The food is good and reasonably priced: salade niçoise, steak tartare, moules frites or steak frites.

Excellent selection of natural wines, cocktails and mocktails.

The Dive team also owns The Nines.

PLAN B: In the neighborhood, there are lots of small bistros, all very nice.
