Located in the basement of The Marlborough pub, this is the place everyone’s talking about in London! Formerly in Hammersmith, Crisp has moved to the heart of Mayfair (right next to Selfridges). Welcome to a kind of New York speakeasy where everyone comes for one thing: NY-style pizza with an ultra-thin and perfectly crispy crust.
You have a choice of four sizes: individual, Grandma Style (thicker, like Detroit), Bar Pie (even thinner and giant, perfect for sharing) or calzone.
Be sure to try the Vecna Pie (pepperoni, parmesan, burrata, and spicy honey) or the Tie-Dye Pie with its spicy tequila sauce, fior di latte and pesto swirl. Delicious!
As sides, Caesar salad smothered in Parmesan, pepperoni chips, or dipping sauces.
And for dessert? An affogato or the Cookie Puck topped with a sundae.
PLAN B: The Marlborough is renowned for serving some of the best Guinness in the city! Be warned, it’s one of the hardest tables to get in London! Online reservations often disappear in minutes. Luckily, they keep about 50% of the seats for walk-ins.
Our advice: arrive early, as the queue can sometimes stretch for hours on weekends.
