Brasserie de Montbenon is a trendy chic place in Lausanne. The old brasserie is gone, the new restaurant in the old Casino Montbenon: a large volume and a magnificent view. Some sofas, dark grey booths divide the space very well.
On the menu, a cuisine both typical and refined: papet vaudois (leak, potato and sausage very good and local), steak tartar, vol au vent (puff pastry with mushrooms and meat). Hot chocolate from Balzac.
What is also very cool is all the events they host. Evenings with a theme (Thanksgiving, Swiss German food, rabbits), garage sale, movie nights or bingo…
