When it feels like traveling to the Mediterranean while staying in Fribourg. Head to the Iberian Peninsula or rather the Boulevard de Pérolles, Ben and Léo (yet again) opened their last restaurant at the end of July. This time, they innovate with a “cuisine du Sud” and we are delighted.

Plan to start with a cocktail! Their selection is remarkable: Hot Pisco, their version of Pisco Sour with mango honey and chili. If you are more Tequila, El Chapo Tiky, with coconut, pineapple, turmeric, all served in a tiki or choose a classic: Negroni or Old Fashioned.

Once the aperitivo is over, it’s time to eat some really good food. We chose to share everything and order a little of everything. Gazpacho, carpaccio (vegetarian, fish or beef), sea bream ceviche with lime and sweet potato… a pure delight.

Then we had the Asian tartare with tuna, ginger and peanuts. The alla plancha and grill: the octopus was a real treat: melting and spicy to perfection!

PLAN B: If you’re not hungry, just go there for drinks and see the tasteful decor that bring us straight to vacation, worthy of a restaurant in London or Paris.
