Kiln

58 Brewer St, London W1F 9TL

Located in the heart of Soho, Kiln offers an exceptional dining experience showcasing authentic Northern Thai cuisine. The restaurant has a rustic, minimalist feel with wood, tile, and stainless steel. Guests are seated around a bar, allowing them to watch the chefs cook on grills. Traditional cooking methods, such as clay pots and open flames, add an extra something.

The menu is designed for sharing, featuring bold, aromatic, and spicy dishes made with excellent ingredients.

We tried the BBQ chicken (Gai Yang), which was delicious. The grapefruit salad was fresh and tangy. The pork and crab noodles, cooked in a clay pot, were flavorful. And the grilled lamb was fantastic. Everything was excellent.

Unlike many other Thai restaurants, Kiln focuses on lesser-known dishes that offer intense flavors and surprising combinations.

PLAN B: If you’re in Soho, make sure to stop by, even if it’s just for a cocktail. They’re excellent.
